I’m Yvonne, a Wairarapa artist living on a small lifestyle block with three alpacas and Molly, our Shih Tzu, who is never far away.

My Swedish dishcloths begin as my original artwork and are designed to be used every day — in the kitchen, around the home, and anywhere you’d usually reach for a cloth or paper towel. They’re reusable, compostable, and made from a blend of cotton and cellulose, offering a practical alternative that still feels like something you’d want to use.

A small shift in everyday routines

Most people start with one, then find themselves reaching for it again and again. It sits by the sink, replaces the sponge, and quietly becomes the most-reached-for thing in the kitchen. Before long they’re ordering another one

It’s one of those simple changes that quietly becomes part of how you do things.

Each cloth begins as a hand-drawn illustration, inspired by everyday life here in the Wairarapa — gardens, animals, changing seasons, and the small details that often go unnoticed.

These aren’t mass-produced patterns. They’re pieces of artwork, made to be used.

Made from cotton and cellulose, these cloths are highly absorbent, long-lasting, and fully compostable at the end of their life.

They’re designed to replace the need for disposable cloths, without asking you to change your routine too much.
